My name is Monika Garcia, and I am incredibly excited and
honored to be your Principal. This is my 20th year at Foothill
Elementary. I had the privilege of teaching 5th Grade Dual
Immersion here for 18 years before serving as your Vice
Principal last year. As someone who was born and raised in
Pittsburg, it is a true privilege to serve the community that has
had such a positive impact on my life. I can

our students and families and welcome both new and familiar
